Class Act Inc. frequently recommends skill upgrade clinics in its curriculum designs. These are scheduled a few months after a skill workshop, such as introduction to selling skills, negotiating, or presentation skills. These one-day drill sessions focus on a specific skill (e.g., closing or developing needs), and are a useful form of follow-up and reinforcement. Examples and cases can be assigned, or participants can bring their own. Clinics should be designed with clear learning objectives defined up front. Templates, rather than fixed content, are recommended.
